Founded by Salama AlAli at the age of 18, Salama turned her love for handcrafted pastries into a thriving business, driven by a commitment to quality, sustainability, and creativity. At Voya, we believe baking should be thoughtful and personal. Instead of mass production, we focus on traditional techniques while continuously innovating. The name “Voya” comes from the Spanish word “viajar ” (to travel), reflecting our love for discovery, whether in flavors, methods, or creativity. Under Salama’s leadership, Voya Bakehouse offers a unique blend of authenticity and sustainability at the heart of the business, Voya Bakehouse carefully selects ingredients, minimizes waste, and partners with local suppliers to support the community
