Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions Curma
CURMA is a marine turtle conservation initiative established in 2010. Based in San Juan, La Union, the organization is committed to protecting endangered sea turtles and promoting sustainable development in the region. CURMA has developed a unique conservation model that takes a holistic approach to conservation. This model encompasses several key pillars, including sea turtle conservation, waste management, reforestation of coastal forests and mangroves, and fostering sustainable communities. By uniting volunteers, citizen scientists, and leaders, we strive towards a future that is both sustainable and regenerative, with education and adherence to CURMA values at its core.
