Moores Rowland Lesotho

Moores Rowland offers a full range of professional services including audit, accounting, tax, and consultancy services, and is deeply committed to the development of Lesotho people as professionals. The Firm's original office in Maseru was opened at the Maseru Book Centre premises on Kingsway in 1975 and operated as part of the Peat Marwick international organisation. The Firm developed and expanded over the next 25 years and entered into merger agreements with the Lesotho practices of both Deloitte & Touche and Moleko & Associates. Due to international mergers and name changes, the combined Firm adopted the name of KPMG in 1995. Since then, the firm has developed a strong portfolio of local and international clients and has been in a position to serve them through the policy of having partners/directors and staff based full-time in Lesotho. Our office is staffed by three partners/directors, with a staff complement of 25 to 50. All of our staff (except for one South African partner) are Basotho, and 90% are trained at the Centre for Accounting Studies and local universities. A number of our senior staff members are (or have been) office bearers within the Lesotho Institute of Accountants. MRL has a solid international network and is an affiliate firm of the Praxity (formerly Moores Rowland International) global alliance of independent firms.
