This Institute is run by Youth Health Action Network The idea of this institute is to have a programme focusing on research skills development among young scholars in Africa. The exposure to research in our tertiary institutions is very much limited as many undergraduates have their first experience in doing any serious research work in their final year. Nigeria as a country and Africa as a continent is in need of quality researchers who will contribute significantly to the body of knowledge and development. We aim for a significant growth in the research interest, commitment and output through focused peer-driven learning and practice. VISION To be a leading research institute nurturing young researchers in Africa towards sustainable development MISSION Raising a generation of well trained and motivated young researchers in Africa by 2030, who will mentor others in the same path improving our research output per capita. KEY STRENGTH Strong faculty Standardised curriculum Flexible training schedule Result oriented learning FACULTY The institute is steered by a strong faculty derived from backgrounds in Medicine, Pharmacy and the health sciences. Young professionals with competencies and results in different aspects of research. Enrollment Admission commences in October of every year and ends in December.Training starts in January and runs through the year.
