African Women In Water And Climate
AfWWC is a pan-African initiative established by an African community of women designed to empower and position African women working in water and climate sectors as active leaders, experts, partners, and agents of change to realize equitable, inclusive, and sustainable development within the continent and beyond. We aim to empower African women to take a leading role and be represented in the decision-making process. This is a significant step towards achieving gender equality and inclusivity in the water and climate discourses, and ultimately addressing local to global water and climate-related challenges to improve lives within the continent and beyond. This is a safe space for women and allies to share funding tips, job opportunities, and support for our individual or collective projects. Join us!
