The Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic (FJCCR) is a Czech Jewish umbrella organization representing Jewish Communities and other independent Jewish institutions across the Czech Republic, in Israel and throughout the world. The FJCCR is a member of the European Jewish Congress and the World Jewish Congress. FJCCR maintains a long term partnership with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. FJCCR coordinates the activities of the Jewish communities’ especially in religious, social, educational and cultural aspects. FJCCR works with Czech government institutions, state administration, local authorities, or other Czech institutions. FJCCR also functions and cooperates with foreign institutions and organizations. FJCCR actively monitors the environment against all manifestations of anti-Semitism, racism, xenophobia, fascism or any other discrimination. Federation protects the memory of Shoah victims. FJCCR preserves and maintains the Jewish monuments in the Czech Republic, unless they do not belong to the local Jewish Communities or supported entities.
