Lupfe

At Lupfe, we work on an hybrid-electric propulsion system that provides suitable power density with significantly reduced fuel consumption to enable economical viable flight time and lifting capacity for electric vertical take-off and landing unmanned aircrafts. Solving the problem of having simultanously high power density and low fuel consumption, our technology will increase duration of flight missions, flexibility of deployment and also improves environmentally responsible and economical operation. This technology can cover performance technically from 60 kW to 300 kW at the base specific fuel consumption of 220-230 g/kWh using gasoline. Based on industrial demands, we develop performance to propulse eVTOL airframes roughly up to 750 kg maximum take-off weight. Altough all type of eVTOL airframes can use this technology, the most beneficial usage appears at multicopters where specific energy consumption is the highest and flight missions are characterised by frequent take-offs with relatively short flight distances.
