يهدف المركز إلى تلبية احتياجات ومتطلبات السلطنة من الإحصاءات الرسمية والمعلومات الموثقة لاستخدامها في وضع السياسات والبرامج على المستوى الوطني والإقليمي والدولي في ظل المتغيرات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية المتسارعة، كما يهدف إلى تلبية متطلبات كافة الجهات في الحصول على المعلومات في المجالات التنموية. Our Mission is to produce the official statistics for Sultanate of Oman, which will be used to support the decision and policy makers to formulate and design the adopted national policies and programs. As well, information disclosure is considered as one of our important goals and a core of our mission.
