The Chamber of Mines of Mozambique (CMM) is the only formal private sector organization that claims to represent the entire mining sector in Mozambique. It was founded in 2012. The aim of establishing the chamber is to coordinate private sector actors in the sector, represent their interests to the government and improve the image of mining in Mozambique.
