Adolescents Initiatives Support Organization (AISO) Is a non-governmental organization established in December 2017 and was officially registered by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children under the NGO Act of 2002 and awarded with registration certificate number in February 2019. The Philosophy of AISO is that youth have potential capacity that needs to be harnessed in order to make them aware and self-actualization to meet their aspirations. It is only when individuals and Communities are empowered; they are capable of driving their own actuality. AISO is concerned with capacity building and facilitating comparative advantage that exists for the marginalized groups to improve their quality of life. This concern is the driving force behind AISO in involvement to support community initiatives in Tanzania. VISION To have society where Adolescent girls and young women live a secured life free from the threat of HIV and where their aspirations are fulfilled. MISSION AISO’s mission is to support Adolescent girls and young people who live in a challenging environment and improve their standard of living so that their physical, emotional and social needs are satisfied. We are the ambassadors for these young people and we ensure their integral human development by being a network for organizations, companies and individuals that gives them opportunities to support the young people in an effective way for sustainable and improved good governance and environmental care. Our core values Accountability, Integrity, transparency, Results focused and Professionalism AISO – Main focus • AISO focuses on AGWY aged between 15-24 years in and out of school youth to prevent them from new HIV infections reaching out marginalized groups in the community. We intend to build their capacity in accessing health care services and guiding them on how to making the right decisions that affect their life.
