The Sovereign Order Of The Ecumenical Knights Of Malta O.S.J

We are registered with the United Nations as Civil Society Organization. As a sovereign entity, we maintain full diplomatic relations with countries around the world and our Humanitarian Missions are mostly in the countries with whom we have diplomatic relationships. Apart from numerous humanitarian projects in different countries our mission is the promotion of Inter-religious dialogue which we believe is positive, cooperative, and constructive interaction between people of different traditions or religious or spiritual beliefs, both at the individual and institutional levels. The O.S.J. besides promoting ecumenism, we promote understanding between different religions to increase the acceptance of others looking for the constructive reciprocal treatment between religions and spiritual movements that do not have a common Christian root. The O.S.J. welcomes Knights and Dames of non - Christian religions in the Order of the Crescent of Anjou and the Order of the Fleur de Lys. Our Order is consistent with the ecumenical commitment acquired in the year 1797 with a global vision with regard to all differences. Our numerous Priories consist of Knights and Dames who are collaborators from multiple Christian and non – Christian denominations. With this common union we seek to combine Inter-faith plurality with our Social and Humanitarian work for the benefit of humanity.
