Ruokatieto - Finfood

Ruokatieto Yhdistys ry is a non profit, non governmental association that promotes Finnish food and food culture. We speak for finnish food and responsible food production chain. We distribute information on the "Hyvää Suomesta – Produce of Finland label" that is used as the symbol for Finnish food products. Our goal is to raise appreciation and sales of Finnish food. We spread food related information and expertise, and strengthen the competitive advantage of the Finnish food production chain. The values that guide our operations are Finnishness, responsibility and partnership. The association has 350 members that represent the whole food chain and the companies that use the Produce of Finland label along with other organisations like retail chains. Founded in 1958, Ruokatieto is located in Helsinki and it has formerly been known as Maatalousalan tiedotuskeskus MAT ry and Finfood – Suomen Ruokatieto ry.
