Kalmar is a boatyard specialized in high quality wooden boat and interior construction, located in the city of Itajaí, in the south of Brazil. The wood/epoxy technique was introduced in the early 80’s by Lars Kreuger, the founder of the company, after having mastered the craft in the USA. After 30 years in the market, Kalmar has garnered a local and international reputation as one of the best boatyards specializing in wood construction. Kalmar´s projects range from small dinghies and canoes to luxury mega yacht interiors, always with custom design and production. The modern boat building technique employed guarantees a durable and very strong boat. Luxury interiors with top quality finishing are delivered by a team of qualified craftsman and managers.
