Through our sugar operations in Southern Africa, we produce a range of refined carbohydrate products from sugarcane. We have considerable expertise in downstream agricultural products, biofuel production and electricity cogeneration. Competition for water and alternative land usages is an ongoing dynamic. We balance the operational requirement for cane supplies to our sugarcane processing operations with the transition of agricultural land to other uses at the appropriate times.
