Third Story Children's Books

The Third Story Project The Third Story Project creates children's books with positive messages, written and illustrated by Myanmar artists, to inspire and empower children across Myanmar. Since our inception, we have distributed over 1,067,090 books free of charge to children in cities, towns, and villages throughout Myanmar. We partner with local volunteer organizations to deliver books directly to children in every region. These storytelling sessions engage children in dialogues about child rights, peace, and other vital topics. We also provide storyteller training for teachers, community leaders, and volunteers, equipping them to connect with communities through storytelling. Additionally, we empower youth and adolescents to learn about child rights and express themselves creatively by crafting their own stories. As a non-profit social enterprise, all proceeds from our book sales are reinvested into creating new and impactful stories. Over the years, we’ve expanded to include multilingual storybooks, teacher guides, educational board games, and digital storytelling videos. The Third Story Project remains committed to fostering peace, education, and cultural preservation through the timeless power of storytelling.
