INCAA's Mission: The Indiana Community Action Association (IN-CAA) works to strengthen the capacity of Indiana's Community Action Agencies to address community needs and poverty. INCAA’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Statement: Fighting against inequities is part of our shared Community Action history. We expect all employees to embrace this notion and to express it in workplace interactions and through everyday practices-Contracting with a diverse panel of trainers for conferences and professional development to reflect the communities we serve-Developing a system for being more intentional and conscious of bias during the hiring, promoting, or evaluating process-Educating staff on treating all people with dignity and respect, and holding them accountable for treating all people with dignity and respect-Dismantling inequitable policies and practices that prevent all Hoosiers from thriving-Disaggregating data whenever possible.
