Social Interest Group

Registered in England No. 9122052, Charity Commission No. 1158402 Vision: A transparent and caring world in which people who are marginalised have equity of access to a good home, health care, social support, and employment. Mission: To empower people who are marginalised by building powerful partnerships and creative solutions that bridge gaps in provision and aid recovery, reablement and resettlement. Social Interest Group (SIG) was developed to build organisational strength and increase development opportunities. We enrich opportunities for people facing social and health challenges. We bring together charitable organisations with similar missions and complementary services, offering greater strength to our subsidiaries whilst retaining their unique identity, expertise and service offering. Our subsidiaries include Penrose Options, Equinox Care, Pathways to Independence, Safe Ground and SIG Housing Trust. Together, we provide specialist support, care and accommodation to people with a range of needs, including mental health; alcohol and drug dependence; homelessness; contact with the criminal justice system and survivors of abuse and exploitation. By forming and joining Social Interest Group, members access shared back office services, implement group-wide quality standards, and have shared financial capacity, marketing and development resources.
