Lotung Poh-Ai Hospital originated as a 30 beds small-scale general hospital in 1953 that aims to take care of every patient as one of our own families. By applying this passion to our medical service, we attempt to achieve Confucius's ideal world of philanthropy-"Not only to treat our own families well but also other's families." Started with the goal to be a "Hospital of Yilanese", Poh-Ai Hospital has now transformed into an excellent regional teaching hospital that consists of 44 medical specialties, 1,100 beds and 1,500 employees. Moreover, We also become Yilan county's acute and intensive care medical center, community-focus medical center and tertiary medical referral center.
