Weymouth Center For The Arts & Humanities

Since 1979, Weymouth has been a nonprofit center for the Arts and Humanities. It is a premier venue for live music, writers' readings, educational programming, and community events. Originally the home of author James Boyd and his family, the Boyd House remains a beloved landmark in Southern Pines and is listed on the National Historic Register. Each year, approximately visitors walk the estate. The Boyd House is free and open to the public, and is also home to the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame. Our gorgeous gardens and grounds are a sought-after wedding location for couples across North Carolina and beyond.
