Field Of Sparks

The adventure, now known as Field of Sparks, began in 2018 in Ipolytarnóc, a small village in Nógrád County, where we started organizing an ARTWEEK with great enthusiasm to change, connect, involve, and create intercultural interactions. Artists, architects, and designers came together to create a new narrative for the village of Ipolytarnóc in collaboration with the locals, opening up new perspectives, creating a new identity, nurturing community spirit and local values, and using art as a common language. It is a field for artists’ free experimentation, exciting events and connections for locals to rewrite their stories, and a place full of surprises for visitors to discover the works embedded in the surrounding fairytale nature. Field of Sparks is a celebration of the seemingly incompatible: big city and small village, old and young, Roma and non-Roma, planned and organic, man-made and natural.
