IEE is one of the Public Research Institutions of Defense, responsible for research and development of scientific and technological aerospace capabilities, which has allowed the implementation of a system comprised of aeronautical and space-vehicles professionals, sensors and ground stations systems that deliver strategic geoinformation. Also promotes scientific research with public and private entities, academia and any initiative related to aerospace development of Ecuador, to achieve a true state of Good Living.
