It is important to note that Bella is unlike any other Biochar Producer in that we do not use traditional pyrolysis, do not require and pre or post processing, do not produce any bi-products or gases and our temperature of over 1200 degrees celsius. This results in a cleaner, purer, more stable form of consistently high quality carbon content of 85-90% and an H/C:Molar Ratio of 0.17. As per our Life Cycle Analysis,every metric tonne of Bella Biochar sequesters approximately 3 metric tonnes of Carbon Dioxide for a calculated years. Bella is proudly the first Canadian corporation and the first Female Founded corporation in the world to achieve PURO.earth (ICROA) Carbon Dioxide Removal Certification. Bella Biochar increases soil fertility, biodiversity, moisture retention, water purity and overall climate health. Bella Biochar offers many environmental benefits in a multitude of applications ranging from Forest Management, Fire Prevention, Agriculture, Composting, Green Roofs, Lawn Care and Turfgrass to Wetland Restoration (currently Bella Biochar is in 4 Conservation Wetland Restoration Projects), as well as Soil/Water Rehabilitation/Remediation.
