Cable Laying Vessel, CLV) High Tien Offshore (HTO) is engaging in the offshore wind energy market with its own Taiwanese CLV (Cable Laying Vessel). It is emphasized that cable laying vessel and services are included in the localization policy of offshore windfarm development of Round 3 where the local Taiwanese vessels will have the priority to be deployed first. In order to follow and align with this localization policy by the Taiwanese government, HTO will establish its own Taiwanese CLV. In addition to the cable laying, the vessel will also be able to execute cable repairs. HTO plans to acquire an offshore vessel, which will be modified to a full-ledged and multi-functional CLV. She will be an advanced vessel which is suitable to operate in and outside Taiwan region with large deck capacity and cable carousel loading capacity, strong dynamic positioning capability, high resistance to wind and waves and equipped with work-class underwater ROV system. The vessel aims to serve the whole APAC region starting from Taiwanese area. HTO endeavors to build steady track records in offshore operations, establish a high reputation of safe working culture, provide high-quality services and be the best role model of implementing the localization policy of the Taiwanese government in the offshore wind energy market.
