Copo Coffee
Coffee has traditionally played a unique role in rural Haiti, in economic, social and environmental terms. However, the competitiveness of the coffee sector in Haiti has been declining over recent years due to a combination of external and domestic factors. Coffee used to be the most important source of income for rural resident in Haiti. Yet as prices have fallen, production of coffee beans have fallen at the curb, leading to a further deterioration in coffee quality. COPO coffee is committed to the development of the families and communities through farm regeneration projects that help to increase production and sustainability. We are creating jobs and furthermore embracing the idea of becoming top coffee exporters again.
