DAMA JORDAN is a local chapter, and our aim is to Fostering, Perpetuating, ‎and Upbringing a community of data professionals ‎in JORDAN and Middle East who champion ‎the value and relevance of data management, as well as the opportunity to gain knowledge about ‎the data.‎ DAMA JORDAN is a vendor independent, not for ‎profit professional association of information management practitioners. Its primary objective is ‎to “promote the understanding and practice of managing information as key business assets”.‎ DAMA JORDAN - a community for intelligence exchange about information resource management and Data management knowledge, with the goal of promoting data literacy and growing data awareness in Jordan and the Middle East.‎ DAMA is a global community of Data Management Professionals organized around local ‎membership based chapters. The chapters are supported by DAMA-International who maintain ‎the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK) and the Certified Data Management ‎Professional (CDMP) certification. DAMA’s primary purpose is to promote the understanding, ‎development and practice of managing data and information as key enterprise assets to support ‎the organization.
