Radio Student, Faculty Of Political Science

Radio Student is a non-profit, community radio station established in 1996 by Faculty of Political Science Zagreb, Croatia, for the purposes of practical education journalism students. In it's 19 years it has become recognized as a radio station that offers different radio program. Radio Student broadcasts more than 43 shows, divided into 5 program units: informative program, university section, music program, scientific/educational program and cultural program, while program has 144 volenteers participating in it. The primary goal of Radio Student's program is to create a program which does not confirm to the average taste, but rather tries to educate and encourage critical thinking. We follow the principle of autonomy maintaining journalistic objectivity and keeping a critical distance towards all sources of power (political, ideological, religious, financial, etc.). Editorial policy is focused on the development of multimedia platforms, and with FM you can watch Radio Students program on Croatian national TV station, and read news and columns on web site:
