Our origins can be traced back to the inquisitive brilliance of scientists, who came together with the motive of using their expertise for a self-reliant India in RF & Microwave domain. The partners had identified a need for a sound, technically powerful private company that could design, develop, and produce high-end RF and Microwave subsystems and systems for strategic applications to what is now known as Astra Microwaves Products Limited or AMPL. Astra has demonstrated its capability to provide complete solutions from concept to product realization using in-house engineering. Over the last 33 years, we have developed a diverse range of microwave components, modules & subsystems for Defence & Space applications. Since 2015, we have moved up the value chain and expanded our capabilities in the Digital & Systems domain and we now offer complete turnkey solutions in the Defence & Space domain from Radars, EW, Telemetry Systems to Satellites.
