H&D Asset Management is a professional venture capital also secondary market investment firm with a cross-border presence. It was founded in 2016 by Ping-Yu Chu, Chairman of Taiwan Insurance Group (acuqired by CTBC Holding (2891.TT). H&D Asset Management has two teams, venture investment and asset management, with offices in Taipei, Taichung, mainland China, and Singapore. H&D's investment team invests from Round Pre-A to Pre-IPO, primarily focusing on AI, SaaS, Web 3.0, Semiconductor, Biotechologies and other frontier tech. H&D has invested in over 30 companies globally, spanning across the Taiwan, United States, China, India and Singapore. H&D upholds strong dedication to post-investment management, they continue to heavily support their portfolio companies' business operations, supply chain and logistics, and future fundraising efforts. While H&D's emphasis is on early-stage investments, they prioritize continuing to support portfolio companies throughout growth. While pursuing social responsibility and cultivating the young generation, Chairman Chu has been contributing in humanitarian and welfare activities. He established the "WeShare Education and Charity Foundation" in 1993. The Foundation is a public welfare platform for enterprises to contribute to society.
