Ojecc-Bénin

The Organization of Youth for Water and Climate Change (OJECC-BENIN) has the overarching goal of safeguarding and protecting the environment in all its forms. Its primary objectives include promoting the Sustainable Development Goals related to water and sanitation issues on one hand, and climate change on the other; contributing to the assistance and training of communities most vulnerable to extreme climatic events; advancing environmental education, sustainable and resilient agriculture, and renewable energy in place of polluting fossil fuels; and supporting land-use planning to ensure the good health of rural populations. OJECC-BENIN has two flagship programs complemented by various activities and projects: the Community Risk Management Program for Flooding (ProGRI) and the Adaptation and Resilience Program for Drought and Climate Migration (PARSeM).
