While the name of the company directly references the Blue Crane bird, it was chosen not only for the bird’s striking appearance, elegant silhouette, and ash-blue plumage, but rather for its deep connection to the county’s history, ecology and indigenous cultures, where they were not only depicted as messengers between humans and the gods, but also as a symbol of hope, wisdom and renewal. Blue Crane Environmental was founded in 2023 to meet the demand for dedicated and personalised Environmental Consulting services. With over two decades of combined experience in the environmental sector, Blue Crane Environmental provides extensive expertise to developments in the energy sector and large infrastructure developments throughout South Africa.
