Introducing Barrier Air Barrier Air is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated airline operating scheduled passenger and freight services from Auckland, North Shore and Great Barrier Island. Additionally, Barrier Air is the only airline offering scheduled flight services between Auckland and Kaitaia. We also offer flights to other seasonal destinations such as Tauranga and Whitianga, along with competitive charter services throughout New Zealand. We operate newly purchased Cessna Grand Caravans – single engine, turbine-powered aircraft with seating for 13 passengers.
