Associated Telecoms and Electronics Company limited was incorporated in 1996 to engage amongst other things the sales, services and distribution of telecommunication equipments. Before the advent of global system for mobile (GSM) in Nigeria, ASSOTEL has been an innovative and market leading company, providing specialist services in supplies and maintenance of all assortments of 2way radio transceivers, PABX, intercoms and telephone handsets. We focused predominantly on the marketing and distribution of telecoms products. We also undertake contracts on related areas. Our operations and services fully reflect our commitment to the application of modern technology and facilities in rendering world-class services. In order to meet the ever-changing demand of customers, we ensure that our workforce is continuously trained on the latest practice in the service industry Our core value is to maintain a very high standard in quality of our products and services. We have divers client bases, which are drawn from both private and public sectors within and outside Port Harcourt who have relied on our exceptional quality of service delivery and innovative competence. In 2001, MTN appointed Assotel as an MTN trade partner and ever since then, Assotel has consistently maintained first 10 position in MTN ranking Nationwide and has engaged in a wide range of MTN products distribution such as prepaid and contract lines, phones, physical recharge cards, virtual top up, MTN Internet (Fast link) Car tracking modem, black berry phones, webcam, DSTV Mobile phones etc. The Company has been growing from strength to strength with its offices spread across Rivers state and beyond and staff strength of over 70 Nigerians. Presently, Assotel is also partnering with Etisalat Nigeria and Airtel Telecommunications Nigeria Limited.
