The term 'kashida' is the glyph that bridges between two Arabic letters in a single word. Driven by the mission of bridging between typography and product design, Kashida was born. The brand's aim is to constantly reinvent unique pieces of art which answer society's ergonomic and lifestyle needs, as well as empower the trades of local craftsmen. تأسست كشيدة سنة ٢٠١١ في بيروت على يد إيلي أبو جمرة وميرنا حمادة في بيروت. إنطلقت الشركة بتصاميمها الفريدة المبنية على الخط العربي، بهدف إدخال جمال الخط العربي إلى البيوت خلال قطع نستخدمها في حياتنا اليومية. من هنا، انطلقت العلامة التجارية "كشيدة" التي تمزج بين رونق الخط وتصاميم الاكسسوارات والمفروشات الحديثة."كشيدة" هي كلمة تقنية في الخط العربي وهي التطويل أو الوصلة التي تمتد بين حرفين، أما نحن كشركة هدفنا أن نصل بين الخط العربي وتصميم المفروشات والاكسسوارات جديدة ومعاصرة ودعم الخطاطين والحرفيين
