A Private Shareholding Company, fully owned by the Government of Jordan, registered on the 28th of December 2008 to manage and operate any existing or future airports in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In May 2009, the company officially assumed managerial and operational responsibility for Amman Civil Airport - Marka. The company is also entrusted with the development of approximately Dunums around Queen Alia International Airport. Amman Civil Airport: Strategically located in close proximity to the center of Amman, Amman Civil Airport serves as a main civil airport for passengers on chartered flights and VIP private flights, and moreover as an aviation education and training hub. The airport recorded a total of passengers in 2011 and accommodated almost 70% of Jordan’s Chartered and VIP private flights.
