The Grothendieck Institute performs and promotes the development of highly innovative research in mathematics and its interactions with other disciplines. Our main focus is interdisciplinarity, both within mathematics itself and in relation to other fields of knowledge. The Institute is committed to honour the figure of Alexander Grothendieck through an extensive work of valorisation and development of his research themes and cultural heritage.
