American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia is non-profit, non-political and voluntary organization. It was founded to promote interests and positions of US, Croatian and other foreign companies in Croatia with the aim of business climate improvement, by promoting high standards of business practice. AmCham gathers leading Croatian and international companies, facilitates business contacts and exchange of information beneficial for their business and education and advocates for improvement of government’s economic policy. Within its regular activities, AmCham organizes high profile business lunches with speakers from Croatian political leadership or Croatian and international business community, conferences with topics relevant for the economy as well as other activities. Chamber’s positions are based on the work of thematic committees and provide recommendations for business climate improvements. Through organization of various business events and humanitarian projects, AmCham facilitates cooperation among companies and governmental institutions, foreign and domestic investors. AmCham is member of the AmChams in Europe network and US Chamber of Commerce based in Washington.
