ANLOSK is the brainchild of self-proclaimed designer and ceramists, Annika Løbnitz Skjoldborg. In the middle of a sleepless night, I started questioning why toilet paper holders are all so bland. An odd train of thought that led to a mental 3 am drawing of the helping hand toilet paper holder (coming soon). Since then, countless of quirky designs have been dreamed up, most of which have yet to meet the world. The simple mission of ANLOSK is that I want to add joy to your everday objects. I dream to do so by making you smile, laugh or maybe question what the fuck it is that you’re looking at. I am always exploring how the form of essential everyday items in our homes can be played with without losing function. Simply to make life a bit more colorful and fun. Positioned between architecture, design and fine art, Ejlsmark Studio explores the interface between familiar and unfamiliar aesthetics within furniture, objects, photography and interior projects. Since 2013, the Danish architect duo Anne Ejlsmark Berthelsen and Mikkel Johnsen have collaborated in creating projects in the fields of architecture, design and fine art. In 2017, they launched Ejlsmark Studio — characterized by a minimalist sculptural approach with an intense focus on materials and details — and always with an understated vitality one might not expect.

Nicolai Larsen

Much of my attention is focused on how things are put together and how these meet their context. Something happens in the concrete meeting between two materials. A void that previously had no meaning now takes on the greatest importance for the decoding of the design and its being in the world. The foot that stands, the hand that grasps and the body that rests. The clash or respect in this meeting is interesting and whether these meetings can be combined according to form and material. By focusing on these meetings, it is possible to evoke the individual parts of the design, so that these appear in their entirety and with a clarity about their inherent qualities. This approach also contributes to the design appearing logical, as it is clearly understood how form and material are put together. That this is clear to the viewer is achieved by the design being honest about its creation and presence. Constructively, in several cases this can mean that already in the process it has been thought out how the individual parts can be assembled and taken apart, and how the product can be rebuilt, repaired or reused in the long term.

Jeg har i mere end 20 år løst opgaver inden for industrielt design. Derudover har jeg solid praktisk erfaring inden for både bygningsindustrien og den pædagogiske verden. For mig er industrielt design at skabe gode enkle, brugervenlige og salgbare produkter i tæt samarbejde med mine kunder. Mine løsninger er kreative og logiske, men tilpasset tilgængelig produktteknologi og produktionsteknologi. Materialemæssigt har jeg stor erfaring indenfor træ, plast, aluminium, stål og rustfri stål. Min arbejdsproces er både systematisk og intuitiv. Praktisk foregår mit arbejde i en vekselvirkning mellem traditionelle designværktøjer og moderne 3D-CAD systemer. For at give mine kunder den bedste service har jeg et tæt samarbejde med en række virksomheder, som gør det muligt for mig at udføre totalkoncepter, fra ide til færdigt produkt.

Jannie Baltzer Couture Headpieces

Jannie Baltzer is the creator of beautiful, luxurious and unique headpieces, each one meticulously crafted by hand. The story began, when Jannie searched to find the headpiece, she had always imagined for her own wedding. It proved to be a difficult search, and therefore Jannie decided to design her own collection. She is inspired by 1920’s and 1930’s Hollywood glamour, which is expressed in the luxurious materials such as French lace, silk, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, glass beads, mother of pearls and vintage findings that are used in her beautifully crafted headpieces. Jannie graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in Copenhagen 2004, receiving an honorary prize from Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte for the most creative collection.

At the time, Piet was still touring with his band, when he decided to make a stopover in New York City for a few days, the sudden object of everybody’s fascination: his old tattered school bag, he always carried around with him. Everyone loved it; people would stop and ask him about it. Storeowners would ask whether they could import it. The response was overwhelming, but the problem was, that the bag had been out of production for years. On the plane on the way home, Piet Breinholm started sketching his modern version of the bag. Afterwards, a business plan was formulated and in the next 1,5 years between tours, dissertations, baby care and other jobs, a leather manufactures was found. A place with the right leather and superb silver buckles and latches. The result: a classic, retro, yet timeless bag, available for anyone, anywhere. The Last Bag knows no season.
