Bristol Grammar School
BGS is a thriving independent day school, taking children from Reception through to the Sixth Form. Over the past 10 years, the School has greatly strengthened its academic, pastoral and co-curricular provision, culminating in the highest ‘Excellent’ rating across all categories in the ISI Inspection report in October 2015. Student numbers have risen steadily as our reputation has grown across the city and the region: for the start of the 2017/18 academic year, the School is effectively full with waiting lists in some year-groups. The financial strength this brings has allowed the Board of Governors to invest in new infrastructure, the highlight being the opening of our 1532 Performing Arts Centre in September 2016, named in memory of our foundation year. We continue to be ambitious in thinking about how to expand and improve what we provide for our students. For example, implementation of our plan to introduce the International Baccalaureate into the Sixth Form is well advanced, and we are making good progress on significant additions to our sports facilities. Looking further forward, we are exploring ways in which BGS, its staff and its students can play a wider role in the community that is Bristol and its surrounds.

Cabot Learning Federation
The Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) is a diverse multi-academy trust spanning five cluster areas in the South West of England: Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset and Somerset. We currently sponsor 11 secondary academies, 17 primary academies, an all-through provision, a studio school, a post-16 provision and five specialist and alternative provisions. In total, we cater for almost young people aged from two to 19. The CLF journey began in September 2007 when John Cabot Academy and Bristol Brunel Academy were opened on the same day. In September 2009, we were joined by Bristol Metropolitan Academy (BMA) and the CLF was formed, jointly sponsored by Rolls Royce PLC and the University of the West of England. The core purpose of the CLF today, is much as it was then; a drive to create educational excellence and enhance the life prospects of young people through the embodiment of our trust’s HEART values. Our vision is simple: we believe that by working together rather than in isolation we can accelerate school improvement and embed excellence in our academies. In doing so we create more opportunities for lifelong success of our students as they become young adults. Strategic goals include investment in people and partnerships, and an ethos of decision-making through the lens of disadvantage. Together, these policy strands underpin our broader ambition of delivering Equity Through Education. Working within the Federation, you will benefit from excellent peer support from colleagues in similar roles and great opportunities for continuing professional development. You can expect positive challenge, a supportive environment to succeed within and, in the longer term, further career opportunities across the trust.

First Class Learning Ltd
First Class Learning is the largest provider of after school Maths and English tuition based in the UK. Our thriving network of after school education centres are run by independent Centre Managers (Franchisees) that use specially designed Maths and English programmes to educate children of all ages. The founders first began a pilot study of First Class Learning in 1994 when we set up our first Learning Centre. This business was (and still is) so successful that we decided to launch our Maths and English Learning system across the UK through a franchising model and First Class Learning was established in early 2005. In early 2007 we entered a rapid growth phase to drive the expansion of our franchise network throughout the UK. We now have a network of over 170 franchisees, operating over 240 study Centres across the UK. This impressive growth story has demonstrated that not only do our education programmes offer fabulous learning support that improves the outcomes for tens of thousands of children every week, but that owning an FCL franchise represents an excellent business opportunity. We are continuing to expand rapidly in the UK and now also have centres in the Republic of Ireland, Spain and the Netherlands. Following a recent Private Equity backed Management Buy-In, we have now brought in significant new investment and a strengthened management team to give new impetus to future growth. We want to create schools that cater to the needs of both children and their parents. Every child has a sense of creativity and curiosity, with a desire to discover the world. As early years educators, our job is to develop and nurture these traits. We believe the best way to do this is with a combination of free and structured play, in engaging learning environments. Our fun and imaginative programs help children understand advanced concepts in languages, math and science, ensuring that they receive the best early childhood education. We have schools in the United Kingdom, United States, and India.

Our nurseries are a place of wonderment, where natural curiosity is actively encouraged and young horizons expanded. Our primary focus is the children themselves. From babies to preschool, part-time or full time, they are cared for with warmth, passion, commitment and enthusiasm.
