Care About It Suomi
As the population ages, the need for care and treatment increases. At the same time, there is a shortage of care staff. Welfare and health technologies offer a potential solution to the growing need for care. Welfare and health technologies are a fast-growing sector with a wide range of applications. For example, it can help to achieve better quality and safer living at home. Care about IT is an EU-funded joint project between four countries to develop health technology solutions, training and skills. The project aims to address the growing shortage of healthcare workers in the project areas in Estonia, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands and Finland. During the project, a national centre of vocational excellence and network of experts in welfare and health technologies will be established in Southwest Finland, including educational institutions, IT companies and workplaces in the health and social services sector. The project will also create six Europe-wide welfare and health technology micro-credentials to support initial and continuous training in the field. Funded by the European Union. As this event has gained momentum during the years, it became evident that a broader platform was needed to amplify its impact. In the wake of escalating conflicts, including the war in Ukraine, the imperative for a more inclusive movement for peace and environmental stewardship became apparent. Thus, the Plant And Care For Peace movement was born in 2022, an initiative by Mika Vanhanen, in co-operation with Environment Online - ENO and Act Now India Plant And Care For Peace is a global initiative dedicated to fostering peace and environmental sustainability through tree planting, community engagement, and the promotion of arts and culture. Seuraan voi liittyä, kunhan on suorittanut vähintään saaristolaivuritutkinnon tai omaa vastaavat tiedot. Seuran jäsenyys avaa oven ympärivuotiseen koulutukselliseen ja aktiiviseen yhteisölliseen toimintaan ja osallistumiseen seuran eri toimikuntiin, joita ovat mm. koulutus, veneenhoito, Kotiluoto, laivuri, matkavene, katsastus, tiedotus, toimisto- ja taloustoimikunnat. Toisaalta seuran jäsenyys tarjoaa mahdollisuuden rentoutumiseen Helsingin edustan rantasaunassa arkikiireiden keskellä.
