Preclinical Imaging Lab Medunivienna
The Preclinical Imaging Laboratories (PIL) offers access to state-of-the-art imaging technologies for translational in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro imaging studies. The PIL operates a multitude of imaging and supportive equipment for all imaging modalities currently used in preclinical research. Comprehensive workflows and seamless integration allow for the combination of imaging technologies to address a research question from multiple viewpoints. A team of interdisciplinary experts provide the expertise, training and teaching to acquire reliable and reproducible imaging data. This is in order to support researchers during all stages of the project this ranges from project submission, planning, and conduction and quantitative image evaluation. Our research focuses on applied (whole-body) imaging science for oncology, cardiovascular, neuroradiology, pharmacokinetic and musculoskeletal research. The PIL is deeply integrated into the intramural Medical Imaging Cluster of the Medical University of Vienna to support and facilitate all preclinical imaging activities.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Graz is an interdisciplinary and university-wide joint venture project in the field of education and represents a central cooperation platform for teaching, research, culture and business in relation to China. The director of the institute, Dr. Wan Jie Chen, plays an active role as an intermediary for international networking and seeks to promote the growth of knowledge and mutual understanding between China and Europe resp. Austria. In addition to language and cultural exchange, Dr. Chen, as an entrepreneur, management consultant and accredited export consultant, focuses on economic networking and thus positions the institute as an indispensable bridge builder for Austrian companies, offering a platform for further training, expansion and growth. This is supported, for example, by courses on Business Chinese, Chinese for Managers and the enhancement of intercultural management skills.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Economic POlicies for the Global bifurcation (EPOG-JM) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in economics, supported by the European Union. It offers a world-class integrated Master’s programme on the (digital, socioeconomic, ecological) transition processes with a pluralist approach and interdisciplinary perspectives. It involves more than 40 partners and associate partners in Europe and the world. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)"Doctoral Network" The MSCA-funded EPOG-DN (Economic Policies for the Global bifurcation - Doctoral Network) project aims to establish a community of economists capable of collaborating with various disciplines, sectors and stakeholders to address ecological challenges. It gathers 7 full partners (beneficiaries) and 13 associated partners from different fields and sectors. This project explores the pathways toward achieving strong sustainability, where social, economic and environmental objectives are not substitutable with each other. The project introduces the concept of global bifurcation, which encompasses a range of multidimensional and systemic processes. The project proposes a distinctive strategy for tackling the complexity of global bifurcation, which involves a socio-technical, socio-economic and socio-ecological perspective, all working in concert to develop a systemic approach.

Institute Of Innovation And Industrial Management - Iim At Tu Graz
Since 2011, Prof. Christian Ramsauer is head of the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management (IIM). Research and teaching focuses on topics related to the product creation process from the product idea to production, covering four main areas: Agility, Digitalization, Product Design and Maker Movement. As part of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Economic Sciences at Graz University of Technology, the IIM offers more than 30 courses for Bachelor, Master and PhD students. Besides university staff, many external lecturers from industry teach our students. Currently, 90% of all courses are taught in English, which attracts many international students. The institute operates the IIM Seminar Room, the Laboratory for Innovation and the LEAD Factory. It is organized in two working groups: The working group Innovation is located at Inffeldgasse 11, the working group Industrial Management at Kopernikusgasse 24.

International Association Of Cross-Cultural Competence And Management Iaccm
The IACCM was formed to establish a network of researchers and practitioners interested in and concerned with cross-cultural subjects. IACCM provides an academic forum for experts in all fields of research who take an interest in and are concerned with cross-cultural topics. The project was initiated by the International Studies Centre at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. The IACCM network is designed to offer its participants the opportunity to provide information and exchange views, thereby facilitating and intensifying international co-operation. Regularly organized conferences and the publication of a refereed journal (EJCCM) revised by an international editorial board shall guarantee additional information exchange at a high academic level The overall intention of this association is to develop well-founded explanations for the cross-cultural factors that show growing importance in an increasingly internationalized world, which hopefully will help to establish cross-cultural competence and management as a widely recognized field of research. The aims of the association Setting up an international network of experts in the field of cross-cultural competence opens the possibility for co-ordinated know-how transfer and aims at bringing together those who work on this issue in order to promote and develop this subject collectively. The emphasis is laid on the organization of international workshops and conferences which will certainly be favourable for personal connections among the experts and might lead to new links between them as well as to the creation of common research projects. Furthermore it is an aim to facilitate the submission of project proposals, on the one side because the network facilitates finding suitable project partners, on the other because the existence of a consolidated network will in a sense be an encouraging argument with respect to research funds.

SCEUS in its research tackles questions of the institutional set-up and the economic governance of the European Union, as well as broader social aspects of European integration and the role of the European Union as global actor. An important objective of SCEUS is to link research and teaching in several ways: The University of Salzburg has launched a new Master Programme in October 2005 titled “European Union Studies. It is mainly concerned with law, economics and political science and flanked by sociology, history and communications. Beginning in 2008, the University has also established a three years Doctoral Programme in European Union Studies, which is financed by the Swiss Humer foundation.
