The Port of Šibenik Authority is a public institution that manages, operates, and develops the Port of Šibenik, one of the oldest and best-protected harbors on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea. The Port of Šibenik is open for international public traffic. It has been declared a port of special international economic interest for the Republic of Croatia due to its size and significance. The Port of Šibenik Authority is responsible for the development and maintenance of port infrastructure, provision of port services, promotion of the port’s competitiveness, and protection of the environment and cultural heritage in the port area. It participates in various cross-border cooperation projects with other ports and stakeholders in the Adriatic region. The Port of Šibenik Authority’s mission is to develop a modern and efficient port that contributes to the social and economic development of the city of Šibenik and the wider region.
