Haim Chicken celebrated its 24th year anniversary this 2023. When it was started back in January it welcomed customers with its small nipa nuts and its signature original chicken inato dish cooked on a 2 x 4 square meter traditional barbecue grill. What used to be a small family-ran business is now a multiple-branch eatery that has inevitably become a household name in Palawan. Haim Chicken was inspired from a Visayan recipe, which eventually evolved into a family-original recipe more popularly known as the “ha-im” sauce—a perfect balance and fusion of sweet and savory flavors that will definitely keep you coming back for more. This is exactly what makes Haim Chicken quite special. Just like the province where it hails from—Palawan, known for the kambak-kambak syndrome (“come-back, come-back”) — Haim Chicken has a similar effect on its customers.
