Hemp Copenhagen Co
Hemp is a super-sustainable crop. It only requires 1/3 of land and on average zero irrigation to grow efficiently. Hemp textile is softer than linen and lasts 3 times longer than cotton. Hemp is antibacterial as a crop and as textile, repelling all bugs and weeds in the field. No herbicides or pesticides are needed for growing. The antibacterial qualities also means that towels, kitchen towels etc. do not get mouldy, even under damp conditions (also reducing risk of allergies etc.) So, less frequent washing at lower temperatures is needed, adding to the sustainability of the fabric. No matter the frequncy, hemp textiles always smell good! We have developed a series of beautiful home and baby textiles, already carried by a number of Danish retailers, while more Danish and international retailers are following the brand. Danmarks bedste trykkeri Textil Print, er som navnet antyder, et textil trykkeri. Vi blev etableret i 1988. Vi leverer, trykker og broderer på næsten alle former for textiler: T-shirts, polo’er, sweatshirts, caps, jakker, skjorter, canvasposer, hånd- klæder, arbejdstøj mv. Og vi gør det godt! Faktisk er vi et af Danmarks førende textil trykkerier. Vi ser det som en udfordring hele tiden at blive bedre; at følge med den teknologiske udvikling. Udover at råde over et fuldautomatisk trykkeri, har vi egen tegnestue med topmoderne Mac- og PC udstyr, hvor vi laver film og hjælper med kreative oplæg – alt sammen til gavn for jer. From the crops, harvesting, processing to the final yarn, Schilder and Brown is aware of all its sources and the whole process from the field to the final product. Complete transparency and traceability enables Schilder and Brown and its partners to secure a high quality product. Our People and Eco friendly yarn prioritize both environment and human safety by producing in facilities, which are in compliance with international standards and certificates such as GOTS – "Global Organic Textile Standard", Fair trade, NOP, ISO and Demeter.

Steens right hand, Ergün Arkin, is the production director and has more than 30 years of experience in recycling of clothes. Ergün and his talented team of dedicated employees are responsible for the daily management of the second-hand clothes. The team handle clothes right from the arrival in the company to packaging and sending to the final destination.
