Dr. Joana C••• is a seasoned infectious diseases medical doctor with over 17 years of experience in health service delivery. She has nine years of experience supervising employees and managing teams in Angola, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, Portugal, and Cambodia. Working for NGOs and WHO, Dr. C••• managed HIV/TB, nutrition, malaria, MNCAH advocacy interventions, PMCT services, family planning, gender-based violence clinical case management, and led data analysis and interpretation. She also co-led the COVID19 response and recovery in Guinea-Bissau and actively supported the MoH preparedness for epidemic prone diseases in Guinea-Bissau, Angola and Cameroon. She is experienced in managing budgets of Mi Eur. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Porto and a Master of Public Health degree from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Belgium.
