I have graduated with an associate’s degree from Johnson and Wales University in Baking and Pastry Arts and a bachelors degree in Food Service Management. I completed an internship program at The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island, working in the pastry kitchen as well as Jasmine Porch and the Ocean Room. I was a Teaching Assistant for the College of Culinary Arts while completing my bachelors degree. I was very fortunate to be accepted into the study abroad program for the summer of 2013 that took in Florence and Sicily. Our main focus during the month long program was learning about and participating in baking traditional italian desserts as well as learning about the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle. I am currently holding the position of Pastry Chef at a restaurant in downtown Charleston, Stars Rooftop and Grill Room.
