I am an experienced and successful leader of complex non-profit organizations working with multiple stakeholders, inter-governmentally and with community partners on critical public policy and service delivery issues to local communities, families and children in Ontario. This includes extensive work in the areas of homelessness services and prevention, housing, children services, child care, income support, employment training and labour market development. Before becoming the Executive Lead with the Toronto Alliance to End Homelessness I was the Executive Director of the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association (OMSSA) for almost ten years, focusing on the municipal role as the local human service systems manager across Ontario. I am a strong strategic and systems thinker with proven success in developing and implementing organization-wide strategic plans that include multi-stakeholder engagement and partnerships. I am an excellent, charismatic communicator and coalition builder with an extensive and mature network and with a record of stakeholder satisfaction and reputation of integrity, accountability, sensitivity and inclusion. I have diverse experience in public policy advocacy and inter-governmental relations. This includes being appointed to a number of influential provincial and municipal advisory groups and other tables. I am a confident, experienced public speaker and media spokesperson. I have a wide range of experience with non-profit and public sector governance models, human and financial resource management, project and process management and administration.
