The through line of my career has been improving customer experiences with great content. I started out in publishing, helping titles like Vancouver Magazine and Western Living digitize their editorial offerings and build effective sponsored content programs. This naturally led me to the content marketing world, where I spent several years agency side leading a team that helped brands like Adobe, Okta, Sotheby’s International Realty, and Paypal build effective content marketing strategies. More recently, I've focused on getting closer to the product roadmap and influencing how it impacts customers—first on Shopify’s UX team and most recently with a DevOps startup where I built out the product and customer marketing functions. It feels full circle to be applying a decade+ of tech marketing experience to my roots in the publishing world at PressReader, where my goal is to improve each user's experience with our brand and products. — I'm a get-sh*t-done type, happiest when I have lots on the go.
