My current position is Director, Shared Financial Services for Omega Morgan Inc. in Hillsboro, OR. This position supports and manages various aspects of the financial cycle including procurement, fixed assets, accounts receivable, and collections. My professional background is comprised of over twenty years in the purchasing and supply chain management field. I enjoy the challenge of developing supplier relationships, implementing national agreements, and creating a fully functional purchasing and subcontractor management infrastructure. My responsibilities also include managing the Accounts Receivable Department including all billing and collections activities. It's rewarding to track the full life cycle of a project from the initial customer setup, procurement and job cost accumulation to billing and receipt of final payment. Each job is unique and offers new opportunities to adapt and better serve our customers. As a Supply Chain Manager for Celestica, my responsibilities consisted of directing the overall purchasing function for assigned commodities which included the development of strategic plans in support divisional and corporate material objectives. As a Commodity Manager for complex electrical assemblies, I worked closely with suppliers on their overall performance scorecards in areas such as OTD, Cost, Lead Time and Quality. In this role I was given the opportunity to improve supplier performance while driving down costs and increasing efficiencies. As a Materials Manager for Huntair Inc, I oversaw the material planning, inventory management, and supplier sourcing and negotiation for all materials required to support manufacturing. My goals included promoting early supplier involvement, cycle-time reduction, and standardization of parts and processes.
