About
On the record
I am a passionate SRHR and education advocate with a strong commitment to improving access to education, health, and reproductive rights for young people, especially women and girls. Since 2017, I’ve developed impactful programs addressing health, menstrual hygiene, and access to education, empowering over youths across various projects in Cross River State, Nigeria, and Banjul Gambia. With experience in project management, policy development, and advocacy, I co-led the development of the first SRHR policy focused on youth access in Cross River State, ensuring youth access to essential health services. My work spans volunteering with organizations like Brencare, UNFPA, IYAFP, and Gambia, where I focus on providing information on health to young people to enable them to make informed choices. Driven by the belief that education and information are powerful tools for change, I will continue to mentor, advocate, and lead initiatives that foster growth and empowerment, creating frameworks that support comprehensive, inclusive education and health systems.
