WHO I AM? I am a business developer with versatile understanding on innovation, international business, strategy, sales, networks, and partnerships broadly in the field of health and biotech. I have worked for entities of all sizes and shapes ranging from small private businesses to a public body and a large multinational corporation. WHAT WE CAN OFFER TO YOU? We, at Boreal Bioproducts, extract value from forest side streams meaning that we manufacture and sell novel biomaterials made from upcycled materials. Our start up is funded by Metsä Spring, a corporate venture capital arm of multinational pulp and paper corporation Metsä Group, and we use their wooden waste as a feedstock. Our materials are- SpruceSugar: polysacchride wood extract, rich of natural galactoglucomannan - SpruceLigno: polyphenol wood extract, rich of natural lignin - SpruceTannin: polyphenol bark extract, rich in natural tannin These materials are a sustainable choice and help to facilitate the challenging green transformation in chemical (cosmetics, coatings, adhesives), animal feedstuff and leather industries. Not just by altering the value chain or saving energy and water but also by transforming the actual origin where the products are made of.
